Welcome to all visitors !

Notre-Dame Cathedral in Paris is pleased to welcome you to discover its rich heritage. The visit is free, but prior reservation is required.

To ensure a high-quality experience and avoid any technical interference, groups accompanied by a guide must use audiophones, which can be reserved and rented through the cathedral’s service (rental is set for 1 hour 30 minutes, including the façade).

We kindly ask you to respect the areas specially dedicated to prayer in order to preserve the worshippers’ quiet reflection.

Each week, the cathedral welcomes several tens of thousands of visitors. For this reason, visits cannot take place during religious services, on weekends, or on public holidays. The booking calendar is available three months in advance.
