The Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Paris welcomes school groups from Monday to Friday.
IMPORTANT: Please read the following information carefully before making a reservation.
Eligible groups
This form is intended for groups of pupils or students accompanied by their teachers, supervisors or facilitators, as part of an outing organized by an educational institution.
Supervision and guided tours
Groups must be accompanied by:
- either a teacher from the institution
- or a certified tour guide
[!] Important: the cathedral does not provide a guide.
If you wish to be accompanied by a certified guide, it is your responsibility to contact one (we do not have professional guides affiliated with the cathedral).
Audiophones are mandatory for guided tours
Guided tours must be conducted using audiophones (microphone + earpieces).
[!] Please note: these are not audio guides
Audiophones only allow participants to listen to your own guide.
They must be rented from the cathedral’s approved provider - payment for the rental is made at the end of the booking process.
Duration of the visit
The maximum time allowed inside the cathedral is 1 hour.

The booking calendar opens 6 months in advance
Once the reservation is made, the date cannot be changed
Reservations are free of charge and only valid via this official website
For a self-guided visit without speaking, no reservation is required.
Appropriate dress required
Appropriate attire for a place of worship is mandatory:
- shoulders and midriff must be covered
- thighs must be partially covered
- no transparent clothing
- men must remove their hats inside
